It is the perfect introductory machine for those places just introducing high quantities of vacuum sealing.
This type of unit is a chamber vacuum sealer. With this type of machine the bag lies in the chamber, the air is totally sucked out of the chamber then the bag is sealed and vacuumed all in one fell swoop. It is optimal for those people who vacuum seal lots of things with liquids and juices because they stay in the bag.
The VacMaster SVP-10 (VP210) is completely USDA approved, meaning all surfaces are made of food grade material. This is important for small deli's and restaraunts. The chamber is made of 100% Stainless Steel, measuring out to 11" x 15.5" x 5" (L x W x H).

Thanks to the chamber technology it is a hands free unit. Unlike external vacuum sealers, where you must apply pressure to seal the bag, you need not do so with this vacuum sealer. Much like the Pro-150 this unit has a Dry Rocker Piston Pump. It is a good vacuum pump but compared to the Rotary Oil Pump in the VacMaster SVP-15 (or VP215) and above, it will not last as long and perform as fast. CHAMBER VACUUM PACKAGING MACHINE
Our VacMaster® VP210 Chamber Machine
provides the solution to the problem posed by other vacuum packaging machines
currently on the market. How to vacuum package liquids and liquid-rich foods?
Current machines on the market are suction machines, meaning the air is vacuumed
out of a vacuum bag and then the bag is sealed. However, along with air, liquids
are also vacuumed out of the bag, leading to partial and even failed seals.
Our VP210 Chamber Machine uses a
different technology to eliminate this problem. When sealing with our chamber
machine, the vacuum bag that will be sealed is placed inside the chamber of the
machine and the lid is closed. Air is sucked out of the entire chamber, not just
the bag itself, allowing air pressure on both the inside and outside of the bag
to remain equal and liquids to stay in the bag. The bag is then fully sealed and
air is returned back into the chamber.
In addition, our chamber machine can
reach a higher level of vacuum than other vacuum packaging machines. Our VP210
is able to obtain a 27”hg - 29”hg level of vacuum, while other suction machines
are only able to obtain a 24”hg - 26”hg level of vacuum.
